In a thrilling friendly match between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and a Saudi All-Star XI, football fans were treated to a high-scoring encounter that ended with PSG narrowly defeating their opponents 5-4.
The match, played at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, marked the first meeting between global icons Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo since 2020. Messi opened the scoring for PSG in the 3rd minute, while Ronaldo netted twice for the Saudi All-Star XI, which featured players from Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal.
PSG's victory was secured by goals from Kylian Mbappe and Sergio Ramos, while Neymar missed a penalty for the French side. Al-Nassr's Anderson Talisca scored a late goal for the Saudi All-Star XI, but it proved to be a consolation goal.
