2-0 Victory Secures Quarterfinal Berth

Real Madrid booked their place in the Champions League semifinals with a 2-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the second leg of their quarterfinal tie on Wednesday.
The Spanish giants had already established a strong advantage in the first leg, which they won 3-1 in Munich. However, they didn't rest on their laurels and produced a dominant performance at the Santiago Bernabeu to complete the upset.
Ivan Helguera opened the scoring for Madrid in the 68th minute with a well-taken header. Guti added a second goal in the 84th minute to seal the victory.
Hasan Salihamidzic was sent off for Bayern in the 90th minute, adding insult to injury for the German side.
Real Madrid will now face Manchester United in the semifinals, while Bayern Munich will be left to rue a disappointing end to their Champions League campaign.
